Kala’e Camarillo is a six-time Nā Hōkū Hanohano Award winner and third-generation musician/music educator from Maui, who gained early acclaim by winning the statewide “Band Champ” competition in 2009. He currently serves as the Kanikapila Kumu at Kamehameha Middle School, Kapālama Campus.
