Brad Kawakami is a multiple Na Hoku Hanohano Award Recipient with a group called PALI. In the late 1990’s, after discovering the same musicality as his family, Brad began his music career. He founded Kalakoa, a local contemporary band, and Sam’s Garage, a local alternative rock band. Brad then joined Backyard Pa‘ina, a local band who performed at venues all over the island of Oahu. Deciding to focus on his career in graphics, Brad left the music industry in 2006, but was drawn back in early 2007 joining the award winning band, PALI.
In late 2010, Brad left the PALI band to pursue a solo career and in 2011 released “I Found My Love In Waikiki” single and was one of the Finalist in the 2011 Na Hoku Hanohano Awards for Single of the Year.

The Kahala invites all children (ages 5 and up) to spend the afternoon creating ocean-inspired art while learning about environmental stewardship. Both guests and the kamaʻāina are welcomed to engage and learn about Hawai‘i’s natural resources through the creation. We have all the supplies that keiki need to flex their creative muscles and create one-of-a-kind masterpieces to take home.
Due to limited availability, reservations are required by 3pm on the day of program (no walk-ins). Parent/gurdian’s presence required.
